Cycling on Sydkoster

Cycling is an enjoyable activity that suits most people. Sydkoster is a nearly car-free island and its gravel roads on which you roll along are beautiful.

The boat we take departs right down the road from the hotel. After a pleasant boat ride of about 45 minutes across Kosterfjorden, the boat docks at the pier at Långagärde where the bicycle rental is right next door. Hop on your bike and let the tires roll along the dirt roads at your own pace. Make a stop at Valfjäll, which has the highest viewpoint on South Koster. Climb the 101 steps and you'll get a great view of the Koster Islands and the archipelago. After the stop, cycle to the jetty at Ekenäs harbor where the boat will pick you up at the agreed time.
